The Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) Book of the Year Awards are held every year with the aim to promote quality literature for Australian children by Australian creators. Congratulations to all CBCA Book of the Year Award Notable authors, illustrators and publishers for 2024. 

The 2024 Shortlist will be announced Tuesday, 19 March. 
Winners and Honours books will be announced at 12pm on Friday, 16 August.

BOOK OF THE YEAR: OLDER READERS

Entries in this category are appropriate in style and content for readers in their secondary years of schooling (ages 13-18 years).
