More than just books, there are so many ways to get involved with the Library.
We love to see you using your Library for borrowing, attending activities and lounging in our tranquil spaces. Community support and involvement are vital elements in the Library's success. We want to support you to have your say to improve our services, provide volunteering opportunities and support your career with work experience, professional placement and employment opportunities.

Volunteers are a valued asset of our Library community. Volunteer roles include Home Library Service delivery drivers, events assistance, technology tutors and general shelving and tidying.
There are currently no vacancies however you can express interest by emailing the library with your resume and the role you are interested in. We will keep your resume on file and get in contact with you if a vacancy becomes available.

A career in the Library industry is a rewarding experience with customer service at its heart. There are a number of roles that make up the Library from Library Assistants, Officers, Librarians and Coordinators, most requiring tertiary qualifications. Each role has a specialisation such as collections, technology, programs and promotions.

Wollondilly Library loves to support our local authors.
Unfortunately, due to high demand, we cannot accommodate all requests for author talks and book launches.
However, we are hoping to host the Wollondilly Local Authors Fair again in 2027. Watch this space.
